Good morning everyone. It's still raining and 44 degrees here in the Deep South. The forecast for the day is more rain and warmer temperatures. Burch sorry for your troubles, hope you get the slide repaired to your satisfaction. Our camper is sitting in the back yard waiting for nice weather so we can go camping. Dixie, Suzie and Lizzie are well as is Sue. Sue is an amazing woman. I don't know how she does all that she does. Last night she prepared meatloaf, cream corn, and some Turnip greens. She never complains about cooking or keeping the clothes clean and taking care of the cleaning jobs around the house such as floors, rugs, bathrooms and windows. I help out but she does more of the work than I do. I take care of the outside things such as cutting the lawn and help with trimming the trees and bushes. I admit she really does more than I do and for that I am grateful. I am doing better this morning, but still have the pain in my lower right side. I guess I need to go see the doctor again and let them take a look at what is going on inside with the camera. The CT scan didn't show anything, but there is something going on they haven't found yet. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. Here we go again with another time change. We just got used the last one. With Congress talking about eliminating the time changes maybe this will be the last time. It is raining and windy here. We are currently in a warm up. It is in the 40's and we could see 70 by Thursday. But after that back to reality with temps in high 30's to low 40's. Hopefully this is a sign that warmer weather is heading in for longer periods of time and here to stay. Good morning everyone. It's 52 degrees and cloudy this morning here in the Deep South. Yesterday morning I had meetings at the church at 9am so I had to get up and moving. This morning Sue and I both slept until I usual time, but by the new time it was 8 O'clock, so now we are running an hour behind. Yesterday at church I saw one of our neighbors. At eighty one years old he and his wife bought a new camper. He said Sue and I were their inspiration. They have owned one before so this isn't something new for them but I wonder how well they will get along with their new adventure at his age? Today the temperature will be close to seventy. I notice pollen is beginning to show up so maybe, just maybe we are going into spring. I go to the doctor this week and start discussing what's next in the way of tests. I have got to have some relief from whatever is going on so I guess I will have to start listening to whatever he wants to do. Sue just got back with Dixie, Suzie and Lily. She says she saw evidence that maybe a Coyote was in the neighborhood last night. They come and go around here and someone is putting a huge dent in their population as it was reported seventy dead coyotes were found dumped in the county. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Good morning everyone. It is 43 degrees here in the Deep South this morning with a beautiful clear sky/ Sue is off teaching this morning so I am left with the walking duties. All the fur gang is well including Lily our neighbor's little dog. She has been staying with us since Saturday. Bark, bark, bark and then some. I don't know why she is barking so much but it has been very excessive especially when she is let out into the bark yard. This gets Dixie excited and she starts barking and she doesn't know why or what she is barking at. Suzie just watches the show and gives them that look of disgust. Well it's back to the doctor's office. This time I am seeing Dr. Dach on Thursday at Hillcrest Hospital, Talked with his office yesterday, He thought he needed to see me right away. He has gone over my files and looked at the results of the CT Scan and said he believed something had been missed and he wants to give me an exam and talk with me about my symptoms. He now believes he knows what is going on, so we will see. Yesterday was a nice day until late afternoon when it stated raining again. Our front yard is saturated and feels soggy when you walk across it. The back yard has standing water close to the steps so when the girls go out and come back in they bring in mud on their paws and track it into the house. Enough of that. I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Richard I know what you are talking about barking and not knowing what they are barking about. Our son has 2 dogs 1 medium size dog and a 1 Dachshund. The Dachshund can't see what is going on and as soon as the other dog starts to bark the Daschund starts barking like crazy. Even if the bigger dog runs to the window to see what is going on the Dachshund starts barking and will not shut up. Hope you get good results at the DR. Office and he is able to help you. |

Good Morning FOOFs Speaking of barking dogs, Monty likes to bark at our skylight in the kitchen. I had the roof replaced several years ago. When one of the workers replaced the skylight, Monty happened to be in the kitchen at the time. He looked up and saw the worker removing the old skylight and went crazy barking. Now, every time we get any rain, he starts barking and runs to the kitchen. The rain on the skylight makes noise and it makes him mad. I guess he thinks he is guarding us from the bad man on the roof. I hope everyone has a great day! Good morning everyone. It's 52 degrees here this morning in the Deep South and the sun is out with clear skies. It's so funny to watch Lizzie going through Sue's purse digging out all the paper receipts and any other paper she can find. She will run with it once she finds it while Dixie waits her chance to snatch it from her, then the chase is on. Sue steps in at this point and takes the paper away from Dixie and gives it back to Lizzie. It's not long before Dixie has it again and the chase is on again. That's the way our mornings start. Suzie goes back to the bedroom and gets on the bed and takes her morning nap while Sue gets ready to take them for a walk. Once Sue gets ready somehow Suzie either hears Sue getting the leashes down or she anticipates with impeccable timing and comes running to the front door with that Let's go look on her face. Today we start with the doctors trying to find out just what is going on with me. We start with Dr. Dach the colon doctor for consultation and then move on to whatever needs to be done. It's strange what's happened at the church during this time. As members of the church we have been offered grave sites in the church cemetery. This is an honor as the sites are few and they are held for the members of the church in good standing. I wonder if they know something we don't? Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. * This post was edited 03/15/19 08:13am by Dixie Flyer * |
