FYI, just got a message from Richard, Dixieflyer, that his computer crashed, he will be taking it in tomorrow to get it fixed. so he will be off line for awhile.
Thank you,Lynn

Okay, I found an old lap top computer that I haven't used in a while but it is slow. The computer that I used was on DSL and the lap top works off the land line so that ties up the telephone. I will be able to talk with you guys on a llimited basis until I get my main computer repaired. I will check back in later today to see what is going on.

Dixie Flyer,
Doesn't the DSL modem use an ethernet cable to connect to the computer (broken one)? If the laptop has an ethernet port you should be able to utilize it for acess/hook it up to the laptop. No software is needed; just a bit of configuration on the laptop and it could be up in a minute or two.

The other computer worked off of a wireless signal that was operating from the wife's DSL. The lap top I am using does not have that ability, but I suppose I could go and buy a cable and hook it up so that we could have a net work system. But I hope to have my other computer up and running by tomorrow.

All is well with Old Fella and we are getting ready for our trip to the mountains this coming weekend. I hope he has a great time and that he travels well. He has gotten better at sitting on the back seat. I received a seat belt harness as a gift that I plan to use tomorrow and see how he does with it.

The rally is shaping up, we just need a few more to go ahead and register {3} so that ABC can go ahead and call this an official rally.
I will let everyone know how things went at Cherokee when we get back on Monday. Wish all of you the best.

Richard, what did the vet say about Old Fella's odor and antibiotics? I'm just a worried shirt-tale relative wondering ...

BTW, I'm glad he's doing so well. I'm sure he's wondering how he won the lottery when he didn't even have a ticket!!!

Actually, I think he knew it was time to move indoors and spent the summer scouting folk at the campground. He knew one day his mournful eyes would have an effect on a kindly camper ... and he found you. And you let yourself be found.

Also, how are his truck legs coming along? Has he learned to keep his butt planted? Again, just a curious camper ...

Hi Sue, Old Fella's truck legs are getting much better. You are right about him winning the lottery and not buying a ticket. It was those eyes that got him the lottery win! I am taking Old Fella back to the vet in the morning to get a shot of the allergies and a dip that is suppose to take care of his body odor. A prescribed diet is suppose to take care of the rest. He is such a sweety I am so blessed to have been the one to finally bring him home. I am looking forward to our trip this weekend and will let you know how things went on Monday. Have a nice weekend

I don't know about anyone else, but I am nervous about your trip this weekend. Don't want OF to think that he is getting left again or anything like that. But, DH says I was born a worrier!

Hi everyone, I just got off the phone with Richard to let him know he will have the banner by 10:30am tomorrow via fedex.

Unfortunately, he told me that Old Fella is having some respiratory problems which started about an hour ago. Rich said Old Fella is having difficulty breathing, and wants no part of his favorite food. When I got off the phone, he was going to call the vet.

Please, everyone say a prayer for Old Fella.

Oh no maybe he has had too much sugar. We all have a huge emotional investment in the Old Fellow.
