Dixie Flyer wrote: I talked with Susanne Fogle for about an hour and a half this morning. Susanne is an author living in St. Louis Mo. and she is wanting to write the story of Old Fellow. She is writing a column this weekend for Saturday's paper where she lives about Old Fellow.
She wants to talk with everyone who has been involved with this thread and especially those who donated money. She would like to talk with the person who had the very first response to the thread. Also she wants to talk with the first person who offered to help with the vet bill.
I have asked Needsomefun to post the link to her website so that you can look at her biography. When you go to the website scroll down to her name {Susanne Fogle}.
Her Phone number is 314 868 5464
If she doesn't answer the phone leave a message on her answering machine and she will call you back.
Her email address is: [email protected]
She would also like to hear from you by email.
She asked me what I thought about a name for the book. I told her to poll the thread and let them suggest a name for the book.
We are changing the spelling of Old Fellow name to Old Fella as she thinks that would read better. What do you think?
If you haven't seen this before please read and respond.

Say we did organize a Rally, would it be possible to have it at the campground in S.C. that Old Fella was found? How many sites do they have? Just a suggestion.

Susanne says there are no copyright laws concerning people's replies on the thread. I ask Needsomefun to post her email to me concerning this. Not to worry according to her.

Some of Modoc campground's sites are small and tight getting into, some large rigs may have a problem. I think there are only 60 campsite now with 10 more being added by next summer.

Suzanne's copyright letter to Rich:
Dear Rich,
I checked the RV thread this morning and one of the gang expressed concerns about copywrite laws.
Can you post a comment telling them all not to worry? Individual remarks cannot be copywrited. It could only be "claimed" by someone if they authored the entire thread. Also, I decided it's better to let the thread continue for awhile, because I intend to use the number of "hits" it receives as a selling point for publishers. Once I have the proposal ready for my agent, I'll write a brief synopsis of the ongoing story for the site and then we can drop the original posts on the thread. People will be able to learn "Old Fella's" story without reading every detail and they can post new comments, if they want.
I noticed someone mentioned Branson, Mo. for the rally. For anyone who hasn't been there ... lot's of terrific campgrounds, more tourist attractions than you can count, and dog-friendly motels for me. Since it's only a four or five hour drive from St. Louis, I could leave my old dog with my parents, bring my younger dog and actually hang around for a couple of days. They also mentioned Denver ... which is an easy town to get a flight to, so whatever you guys decide is okay by me.
I'll be writing my column tonight and email it to you in the morning.
All the best,
Susanne

Barb,
I've just got to retire - probably around the middle of next June. I just don't have the time (or energy) to work any more! Remember, we still need to meet for lunch!!
