Okay, let's hear from the rest of you folks.
Georgia is a long way from California, but I will certainly do some talking to my husband about such a trip. We've wanted to visit Tenn. and then go up to Va. to see our son who lives in Alexandria... Georgia would be an added bonus..What a wonderful trip to look forward to. It would be great to meet some of the people here, who along with me, were caught up in the rescue Old Fellow (Old Fella) and his rescuer Dixie Flyer (Rich)...Barb

Sounds like a good time and I'd love to meet you and Old Fella. But our next trip will definitely be north to Oregon to look at property. I look forward to pictures posted if this rally gets off the ground.

Dixie Flyer, thank you so much for posting on Wildcatonline about your story. With my slow dial-up, it took awhile to read every posting and lots of Kleenex! I am so very happy you gave Old Fella a new life. Rescues make great pets. They seem to know that they've been given a new "leash" on life. Old Fella looks so much happier and definitely healthier and he has great new siblings. Wish we could go to the "Old Fella" rally but Montana to Georgia.......but you never know! Good luck and I'm so happy for both of you...it was meant to be.

Trappersden ... we'll stop by on our way through Montana and we'll caravan to Georgia together ... if diesel isn't $5/gallon by then ...
Gee, just found out it's only 2400 miles from our place to Waynesboro as the crow flies. According to Rand McNally it's 3000 miles by road, and 50 hours of driving. Let's see, if we drive 8 hours a day for 6 1/2 days ... sightseeing ... who needs sightseeing?

It's just a hop, skip and jump down to Georgia. Sound like a great rally to attend. Would love to meet y'all and Old Fella.

I have been giving this rally thing some thought. We have a lot of friends on the west coast who would like to be included. So maybe the folks from Ohio and the other states would agree to meet somewhere in between here and the west coast this next summer. Let's hear what everyone has to say.

Wait a minute Linda, we want to go to Oregon too. We may have to take more time off next year to work in all the places and people we want to see Barb
