...I'm betting you couldn't get inside, unless, of course you were on their Buddy List. :B
[b]Sometimes I think I are, and other times I think I ain't. As long as they don't delete me when I show up I guess I'm OK.

Would love to pull into a CG and see that banner, Dixie Flyer. Lookin' forward to one day being able to give Old Fellow a good petting.

I just emailed a bunch of pictures to Needsomefun to post for me that were taken today. Old Fellow is doing so good and he will be coming home Monday. A photographer from the newspaper will be here to take pictures and write the article for the Waynesboro True Citizen. It is a weekly newspaper so the article will not be in the paper until the following week, I'll remind you that week. He will not be put up for adoption! The article is about him and his rescue as it was unfolded on the forum.

Today he was so sure of himself as we walked together. He holds that tail so high when he walks as if it is a flag of some kind saying look at me! I have never seen an animal so grateful to be delivered from the trouble he was in. There is love in those eyes now shinning just as bright as the morning star! I got brave enough to drop the leash to the ground to see what he would do. He just stood there and looked at me as if to say, "I'm not going anywhere without you."

This has been so rewarding with such a happy ending, but the story goes on from here. Old Fellow belongs to all of us now and I hope that you will get to meet him someday.

As ya'll can see I'm lookin good in my new red collar and about ready to go home with my new Dad. It sure is good to have someone I can trust. Me 'n Dad was just discussing how my new home is infested with CATS if you can believe that!! I told Dad not to worry, we'll take care of that problem real quickly!!

Thanks Ya'll!!

Aww, what a pretty, shiny doggy! Those pictures make me want to give him a kiss on the nose. You know, he may not be the 10 or 11 yrs the vet estimated. Black dogs often gray more around the muzzle as they age. I hope you have many wonderful years together.

I too have been following this thread and never posted, but like all the others here this story has touched my heart deeply. The pictures are wonderful and I especially like the one of Old Fellow and Dad! What a wonderful thing you have done in saving him Dixie Flyer, and kudos to everyone here that has donated and helped to bring the care that Old Fellow needed so badly to him. I knew this was a great place to learn about Rving and trailers, but I never imagined it would be an RV forum that restored my faith in people. Bless you all!
