Lorni (nifty250) is a wonderful writer with a talent for adventure. I am so pleased to see that Old Fellow has joined the DOTL's in the fight against evil. If any dog could ever be effective in such a battle it is dogs that have known abuse &/or neglect such as Old Fellow and so many others that have been rescued and now know real care and true love.
Samson, Loppy, Petey and the three faithful felines of the Oklahoma division of the DOTL stand at attention and salute Old Fellow as he joins the ranks!!
Forward march.....

Old Fellow is humbled and honored at being inducted into the DOTL. Old Fellow said he promises to carry out his duties and support the fight against evil until he has fulfilled his mission in this life. He wishes that all the lonely and homeless strays find the peace he has at this moment and he will always remember the kindness shown him in these his latter days by so many who have cared so much.

Wow - I'm going to go and hug my dogs. Is there still an opportunity to help financially, perhaps for Old Fellow's future care?

Old Fellow will have on going issues to deal with because of his long years of neglect. He will need to have minor surgery in about a month to help with his foot where the toes were cut off by a steel trap. If you would like to help in his future care you can send your donation:
Richard C. Daniels
504 Jones Ave.
Waynesboro, Georgia 30830.
As it stands as of this moment all of his vet and boarding bills have been paid by the people of this forum. Old Fellow will have a home with us for the rest of his life and my hope is that he will never have suffer or be alone again. Thanks for your interest in Old Fellow and thanks for wanting to help.

Dixie, I love your idea of making up a banner with your RV.net screen name & Old Fellows on it to display when camping. Go for it!

I thought about making a banner to take with us camping that would say:
"Old Fellow and Dixie Flyer from the RV.Net Open Road Forum."
and put it out everywhere we camp and just maybe our paths will cross. Wouldn't that be great??
What do you think?
