Shower drains to the black tank...could it, back up into the shower? Have had the grey tank on our Phaeton backup into the shower doing laundry, after having forgotten to open the grey drain valve. I wonder if our 213 is plumbed the same, couldn't believe the black tank was full before dumping this morning after 3 days, but we did both take a shower each during that time.

Teacher's Pet, we were in Hedlin, MT last night and ran into the same torrential rains. Crosswinds were tricky but the 213 was stable. Of note, we did have a wet spot on the carpet on the front end of the sofa. I checked the compartment door, it looked OK. Any ideas where the water could have come from?

This was our maiden voyage. We are at 1400 miles and head home to MN tomorrow. I'll have lots more comments and questions next week.

No idea, will check for wet spots in that area tonight.

I think I have the answer to my leak. When we got back home and unloaded my wife crawled under the sofa and saw daylight around the outside hatch. It looks like the weather stripping shifted and created a gap. I think I just need to re-glue it.

We had a great trip! We put on almost 1800 miles and on one leg with a brisk tail wind got over 12 mpg. Why didn't we get one of these sooner?

Does anyone have links to photos of TL mods made by Gary Swanson and Cheeze1?

Someone on one of the subforums is asking if anyone has modded their dinette containing FW tank and electric panel into something else.

Currently RV-less but not done yet.

Chas,

The forum doesn't store pix. Pix you see here have to point to a site where you have the pix hosted. If you have them online somewhere, we would need to know the URL. Maybe somewhere deep in this thread are the posts with the pix still up at some host site. But if you have the site URL handy, that would make it easy. Thanks.

cheese1 - You are always famous. Some of your pictures are also on page 191.

Here is a link to Gary Swanson's posting on his modifications. B+ motorhomes page 45 However, he had them on Shutterfly and Kodak closed the hosting site.

I managed to copy them to my computer prior to that happening. Gary S. has not posted for quite some time so might not respond. I hope he does not mind Gary Swanson's pictures of his modifications.

Thanks Gene, I could always count on you! To make things easier, I am providing the link to the pix of all I ever did to the 213. I tried to do it last nite on the Ipad...well forget that. Tho' I don't have the big baby anymore, I still feel great kinship to this thread and will always be available for advice or ideas.[emoticon]

This Link SHOULD allow everyone to see all of the mods I made to the 213 including sub folders:
