Thanks Dano and all. It is good to see these TLs holding up well after 5 to 8 years.

Comment about eBay, you can do the search using only the number. That is unique to that item. Once you are viewing the item, you can also click on "view other items" to see over 400 other items this seller is also selling. He has some other sizes, colors, etc. You can also do a search on eBay for "RV Door". Today, I found over 1,000 different sizes and shapes of doors and parts.

I just found a bunch of things too, including somewhat reasonably priced decals. That door that Dario found was too big for my battery area, but I will do some serious measuring now that I know I can get one like it. Chas Morristown, NJ Trail Lite ">

Chas, I happen to have had quite a large empty area near the rear step of my 225, good thing to know is there does not seem to be any structural Alum studs below the floor level around the coach. So it's just a simple cut with a jig saw to the size of the hatch trim. How has your stock battery tray stood up? As mentioned before I had to replace my original one with a Stainless ( acid will not eat Stainless ) I would remove your battery and take a real good look at the welds holding the tray on. My new tray also has a stainless hold down clamp!!! If you recall a few years back I lost 2 brand new Interstate Deep cycle Batteries on the Jersey Pike after the plastic clip on the nylon hold down strap broke, 1st bump I hit lost one battery with the 2nd battery hanging from the neg cable. It dragged for so long that a 1/4 of of the battery case was worn away. What a nightmare!! Must have driven over 50 miles not knowing they fell out. Thank God for those 24 hour Walmarts. |

Dario I remember that 'adventure'. Last year I removed the battery and the 'tray' (more like a cage), cleaned it and then painted it with rustoleum. It is merely bolted to 2 studs coming down from the underside of the floor. I there is room for a real tray affair but I think the vertical cuts would have to go to the bottom of the exterior wall/skirting. I also don't think there is anything structural there, but the cutout piece would likely become a door. In fact, I STILL have to get those automatic battery fill things someone here told me about. |

Anybody, I currently have the Parallax Model # 7355 and would like to upgrade to a converter with a 3-stage charger, has anyone done this and if so what Converter did you go with? Dario |
