Sure Orion, here's the ebay store:

I didn't look anywhere else, but this site is encouraging. Just make sure you read the ad, sometimes he only sells a graphic for one side of the coach.

I had spilled acid on the steel battery support tray early on and did a moderate cleanup and painting. About a year ago, we recleaned with baking soda, got to bare metal, and put 3 coats of rustoleum. It looks good and I did my best to inspect welds. Also bought a better strap to hold battery tight.

Of course, the access door is too small to get at the battery except to measure its voltage.

Cheese, I think Gene has those battery top fillers that let you pump in the right amount of water.

Chas, excellent find on the decals. I ordered some pewter ones (two different sets) and will use those when I paint the lower section pewter as well. Thanks

How do you paint the bottom - what prep and what paint type?

Just standard automotive prep - prep/cleaner to remove any wax/greas; wet sand with 600 grit paper; mask; auto primer; acrylic paint applied with professional paint gun (I suppose one could do with spray cans, but it probably wouldn't come out as good).

Gene, I would love to know where/which digital clock you got...
Finally, got out to storage and took a picture to help explain. The name "SHARP" is on the face, but I could not find any model number anywhere. It takes a single AA battery. It has an alarm and a back light button on the face.

This clock on eBay looks very similar - Item Number 220581565376.

Gene, that looks like a sortof 'regular' alarm clock. How did you mount it?

Orion, I have removed the bright blue swooshes from my coach as well as the ones that were on the cab. I then masked off a 'swoosh' on one side and painted it with rustoleum med. gray hammertone. Paint job is fine, but the shape does not flow. I would like to remove it and get decals instead. Any idea about removing the paint I used?

Chaz, look at the paint can for the paint you used to see what the main solvent is. It's probably xylene. You can try a commercial paint stripper then clean any residue with xylene. Test an inconspicuous area first with both chemicals. The fiberglass gelcoat is pretty stable and "should not" be affected by either chemical if not on too long.

Yah, I considered masking off a swoosh, but I guess as you found out, it's just too hard to get a smooth curve with tape.

Oh well, I guess I will stick with white. With my low vision, even painting the battery tray with a brush had to be done by Martha. Picture Mr. Magoo with a paint sprayer!

burl, it's not that hard....you just need REALLY WIDE TAPE!!! and an open field.
