Important items for your camping checklist
1.A big and stable quality Camping Tent. This will prevent the rain and sun burning, which will keep a suitable temperature, and also keep mosquitoes away.
2. Sleep bag and sleep pad, these two items will keep warm up to the most in many outdoor situations, and also prevent the skin contact with unfriendly creatures and viruses.
3.Lantern, Headlights, and LED flashlights
4. Solar charger, this item will provide chargeable electricity for phones, tablets, laptop, lights.
5. Machetes, this item is definitely needed
6.Portable Cooler box. This item can keep food in fresh and drinks in cool
7. Fishing rod, this item may provide extra protein.
8.Common medical kit.
9. Hiking footwear, professional hiking shoes, or boots will provide protection and enough comfort.visit https://rockroosterfootwear.com to find shoes nearby.

It's a good checklist Lyuluck! I would rather use a small ax instead of machete (point 5).
As for sleep pad I have even two ones -- one for car sleeping and other for hiking trips. My opinion is that inflatable sleepings pads are better than foam ones -- there are more compact, lighter and easy to use. I use RikkiTikki inflatable sleeping pad, you can find it on Amazon, it's cheaper than big brands but great quality product.

I'm looking for drive in camping spots open in the winter. My job is busy in the summer so I got a bunch of rainproof camping gear. Are there any campgrounds or other camping sites in the area you know of? Any private campgrounds for tents? I'm having a hard time looking online. It would be me and my two little kids. Our entry point to the cost is Lincoln City so if it were close to there that'd be super!

Make some phone calls to find out what is open in winter. Are you in CA or OR? Santa Clara and Lincoln City are a long way apart. I like low elevation sites in winter. Check with BLM, Forest Service and State Parks. Many websites are not updated and misleading about winter services.

Hi everyone. Have you already started to plan your spring camping? Which places are you going to visit (if it will be possible)?

Since I bought a camping fire pit from bosonshop, I have experienced the fun of camping. There are two kinds of fun. You can put food on it or watch it burn to create a warm atmosphere.
