Deceided to post first in this topic since I have an old 1973 Chinook. 38 years young last month! I've had her for more than 22 years and just keep adding and changing things as time goes on. She is an oldie but goodie and more than road worthy. As many here would agree, old doesn't mean unsafe and used up, just got to keep up. I've learned many things form this forum and hope to be able to add a little of my knowledge as time goes on. If I don't know what I'm talking about on a subject I'll keep my mouth shut and learn from others. I'm not an expert on anything and I'll offer mostly opinion when I have something I feel may be of value to share with you. I promise to try real hard to not talk about the cost of fuel, blood pressure you know! ![]() Toss in a picture of my rig. Hope I can can add something positive to this Forum. John ![]() Nice looking rig.....sure doesn't look it's age. |

Here's a couple more chinook440. As soon as the snow is gone in a day or two I'll get some of the inside.![]() ![]() Thanks for the welcome Old Trucker. You're making the old girl blush (the rig, not me). Getting some different shades of white on it, hope to strip it down and shoot fresh paint on it this year (like last year and the year before and the year before, ect., ect.) Been watching your progress, doing a great job. Lots of pride there! Nothing like doing it yourself. It'll be worth 100k to you when it's done. Nice thing about the Chinook, NO WOOD! Don't think I could do what you've done with yours. John |

Thanks Trish, have put in a few hours and many $ to get it back into shape since I bought it. Much to do yet, but that's half the fun.
