Thanks gored2. I'm sure you would be able to do many of the things I've done to update an RV. Remolding is half the fun of having an older MH. Now, swapping engines is not for everyone, took me some time to learn things like that.

I found some great stuff on carDomain for the B-series if you search.

Back in Sept, my Travco was in a movie. Maybe in the movie. Here's my post: http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/14219250/srt/pa/pging/1/page/477.cfm Here are pictures from the trailer that aired during the SB last night (and, yes, I am accepting condolences over the Steeler loss). See the railroad tracks? See the poor truck that I was supposed to cross in front of? See why I said "Oh h$ll NO, are you &*^%ing crazy" to the 2d unit guy? http://www.thehdroom.com/news/J.J.-Abrams-Talks-Super-8-Super-Bowl-Spot-High-Res-Images/8363 |

Lots of the explosions are CG, but the tracks are for real, belonged to Weirton Steel and have been unused for 15 years. You can imagine what kind of shape they're in. Studio spent 10s of millions on the film, yet paid extras w/cars an additional $25 a day. They called this "creating jobs." That is not what I called it. |

Woohoo - a whole extra $25/day. Wow. Not worth pulling it out of the driveway... Studio was taking advantage of the situation. Guess I won't give them any money for that movie

Trish, If your Travco made it into the finished film that would be way too cool! Especially if the part that it's in has a "monster sighting"- like the site mentioned there might be in the screen grabs there... lol... that and a free Blu-ray of the movie might make up for the lousy pay... your little fat buddy, Mark 1972 Mobile Traveler 20' Dodge B300 Class C "The Kobayashi Maru" Trans- Prarie Land Craft "Requiescat in pace et in amore..." |

No, it's not worth it. Same studio that had an extra driving in the Transformers 3 movie... That extra was being towed and a piece of ???? came loose, went through her windshield and stuck her in the head. She was in intensive care for a month. Being an extra can be fun; it can be tiresome, too. However, it should not be dangerous, that's what stuntmen are for. If there's a shot of the Travco -fine. It's more important that it's intact. My S-10 is in "The Next Three Days." When Russell Crowe is running into the train station, look to the upper left /center of the screen for a LOT of red. That's my (parked) truck! |

That's insanity. The studio, hopefully, was liable for all the medical care. And then some. Now that's cool

Hello all. Just purchase a 1978 Dodge/Frontier 19 footer with a (seemingly) strong 360 in it. Drove it home 45 miles and had it die 2.5 miles from home ($103 to tow it the last 4 minutes!!) Carb was overflowing gas out the vent and linkage holes in the top of the carb and flooding the motor out Anyway, I am guessing it has the original carb on it so I was wondering if anyone can tell me what carb it is so I can order a rebuild kit for it. Also, the last carbeurated vehicle I owned had a Motorcraft 2100 carb on it (AMC 304 engine) and I LOVED the carb....probably the EASIEST carb in the world to rebuild and tune, and they are dirt cheap to buy used. Does anyone know if the MC 2100/2150's will bolt onto an dodge 360 motor?
