Semi Merry Christmas to me. I bartered a set of Monroe Gas Magnum shocks for my old girl.
We'll put that at the top of the list of things for after the thaw.

You will love these. Promise...

We just bought a 1979 Dodge chassis Brouham. Not too sure who made them, but it is clean....found it through another site, and talked at lenght with the present owner. I swear it's immaculent inside....Now we have to figure out when we make the trip to pick it up.....We're hoping for a break in this cold, so we might be able to camp in it on the way home.....Wwe can't wait....

Hi everyone, hello from the Philippines! I just took several weeks to read through all 497 pages of great information. I live and work in the Philippines, and am coming home to the Seattle area for 5 months, and bought a motorhome off of Craigslist and we will live in it starting in March. It is a '73 Landau class A, M375 with a 413. (Thanks for great VIN info). I had my son check it out, and the seller will keep it on his acreage till I get home. Everything works, but I know that with something 37 years old, I will need your advice during the "adjustment period" when I learn the machine. I have been really impressed with the spirit and helpfullness of this thread, and only wish you all had your own site, as it was hard to find you.
I know there are more Dodge chassis motorhome owners out there struggling to find info and help to keep their Dodge rigs going. After living overseas for 25 years, and from an outside perspective I see that these RV's are a huge value for the low purchase cost, and there is such a delightful variety of makes and models that have come and gone over the years.
I as a master auto tech, started a vocatinal school for poor Filipinos, and have trained almost 500 boys. Never owned an RV before, looking forward to picking your experienced brains.

Greetings to all! First post to this Forum after watching from the sidelines for more than two years. Deceided to post first in this topic since I have an old 1973 Chinook. 38 years young last month! I've had her for more than 22 years and just keep adding and changing things as time goes on. She is an oldie but goodie and more than road worthy. As many here would agree, old doesn't mean unsafe and used up, just got to keep up.
I've learned many things form this forum and hope to be able to add a little of my knowledge as time goes on. If I don't know what I'm talking about on a subject I'll keep my mouth shut and learn from others. I'm not an expert on anything and I'll offer mostly opinion when I have something I feel may be of value to share with you. I promise to try real hard to not talk about the cost of fuel, blood pressure you know! [emoticon]
Toss in a picture of my rig. Hope I can can add something positive to this Forum. John
