Run power cord on the inside or the MH body. I know you would have to cut a hole in it but it should work.

So I did more work on the motorhome. My brother helped me. I have two pannels up on the ceiling. We have a few more left to do. I need to get some quarter round to go around the cabnets. It looks good. So this RV should work for the next 2 years for us.

Not a problem I will post them up. I also worked on the wiring for the TOAD lights on the cherokee. I need to get one more diode, turns out it is going to take 5 of them. 1 for each, Left turn, right turn, left run, right run, and brake lights. I bought a converter that takes the 4 wire trailering back up to 5 wire, so when the Jeep is the toad, the lights look like they would when normally when not being towed. Some pretty high tech stuff here with the old Dodge.

Well worked on the trim last night and putting the rear flip down bed back up. So the quarter round is in place in the rear of the MH. I will get pictures soon. This weekend the goal is to get the rest of the panneling up so that I can finish with the quarter round durring the week next week. I need to change the gasket under the AC once I pull the tarp off this spring. All water leaks will be gone then, crossing fingers. So has anybody else been doing anything at all to there old dodges, besides me. I hope some that are in the warmer climates are using them. |

Is Anyone running 215/85/16 tires on there B300 dodge dually chassis? I currently have the old 8R16.5s and i,m looking to change over to 16" rims for better tire selection/availabilty and i,d like to try and run as tall a tire as possible at the same time to help keep the revs down on the highway. Any input would be appreciated regardless of which size tires your running. Thanks Harry Pictures are always nice... Feel free to show your shoes off! ![]() |

I finally took my family out to the beach this weekend and to my surprise everything went very well(our maiden voyage). The only things I found wrong was a small water leak coming from the line just off of the water pump and the city water connection is out of round and couldn't hold the pressure from the hose. It wasn't a big deal we just used the on board tank, we just had to refill it every day. Although it is a 1977 with original appliences they all worked great. I am still having a bit of a problem with the coach battery draining fast so, I corrected that by buying a small battery charger plugging it in to the outside plug and leaving it connected to the battery and the problem was solved. I did install 2 fog lamps on the roof to provide better lighting so the kids can still play after sunset and I realized I will need to get at least 1 more for the rear, that is where we spent most of our time while at the beach. I have another trip planned for the same location in a couple of weeks so, wish me luck and I will post on how things go and if any improvements were made.

I've already got the R12 replacement gas from EnviroSafe so when I get a little time. Next is replacing the entry step and figuring out how to weld a mount for it to the frame... It was originally mounted to the bottom of the entry to the wood only and finally started to sag due to age and weather. I'm going to cut the old step off and put a slightly better one on (after fixing the wood). ![]() So has anybody else been doing anything at all to there old dodges, besides me.
