Upload them to something like Photobucket or Flickr, then link to them in the Advanced Post Form - click on the box that has a yellow square inside (5th from the right) with what looks like it's supposed to be mountains, then enter the link to the photo in the resulting dialog box.

Eye, here is some photos of my shower surround project. In this one the wall on the left was the one I used the liquid nails that was recommended and it reacted. You can still see some of the dimples that it produced.(they smoothed out some and I decided to leave it as the shower curtain covers that part. The wall on the right was put up with silicone tub and tile caulk. It worked great with no reaction and dried very smooth.![]() shower surround * This post was edited 10/06/08 03:45pm by ALnCORY * I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere! |

That looks great. The Silicone is a enough to hold it in place huh? Then that's just bathroom latex caulk in the corners? That would be perfect if I could find any here. You said Lowes... Do you have a product name? Brand? Department? Anything? |

I got it at Homedepot... In my store its in the back kind of between where they have the premade countertops and the moulding, I can't remember what it is called maybe I can go see what it is called, they still have it... I just used silicone caulking along the roof edge although you could use the corner moulding that I used on the sides. I actually tacked the top of the vinyl with small staples to hold it in place while the caulking I used as adhesive dried , I think I put a couple in the bottom also as it would be covered by the shower pan. I also used the small staples on the corner mouldings to hold them. I put some caulking on the wall for seal then put up the corner mould then tacked it with staples. I then put a bead of caulk along the grove in the moulding and slid the next piece of vinyl in. That seemed to give me a good seal. When I had it all up I simply caulked along the roof seam,(I overlayed the ceiling with the vinyl also) and I was done.

I was just at Lowes... the only thing they had was FRP panel, and it looked nothing like the material in your pics. I can try Home Depot again later this week when I go pick up the formica for my counter tops.

eyeteeth, I just got back from Homedepot (picking up my countertop makings) and I looked up what I used for my shower. What I used was FRP paneling, however they have some different types. The sticker on the stuff I used had this info on it. Manufactured by Parkland Plastics, the brand name is Plas-Tex wall panel. It is .060x4'x8'. They have a .090 thickness panel but it has a heavy bead type texture that I didn't like the looks of. The corner and cap moulding that I used are right there with it. The caulk I used to install it all is a GE silicone II Kitchen & Bath caulk. I got it at HomeDepot also(it was close to the panels), runs around 5 bucks a tube. I hope this helps... |

Just a quick question. What octane gasoline do you guy's and gal's use in your Dodge 440's. After mine has be run for awhile and up to operating temp then shut-off it is very hard to restart. I have been using 89 octane, should I go higher.

Sounds like you're having vapor lock or heat soak problems - not an octane issue. Check to see if you've got a heat shield around your starter, also around your coil. Check the routing of your fuel lines and make sure they're nowhere near your exhaust manifold. We run 87 octane in our 440 with no problems whatsoever. |
