Well, yeah! Duh! [emoticon]

Interesting concept, needing a "cooler" to keep beer cold. Right now, I just set the cans on the porch step for no more than 10 minutes, otherwise they freeze solid! I need my cooler to WARM the beer! [emoticon]

As soon as the glacier melts away from the Tioga, I'm going to bring it over to my new house and tear into the engine. I'm not even going to mess with it. New cam, timing kit, 4v intake and carb... MMMMMMMM, fun times!!!!!

She ain't purdy, but at least she's slow!

You're just not a true Mopar guy until you start "fixing" things that don't need it! [emoticon]

Oh, please, I see no fjords in Ohio.
Just half an inch of ice all over my Travco.

Hello there... I am looking at a 74 midas mini 226, and although I've done some engine work, I will be the first to admit, I know nothing about MH. The sellor has said it sat for several years b4 he bought it, and the roof leaks, which from what I've read so far, seems to happen fairly often. He doesn't think the water heater works as it has been disconnected, and bypassed.

Oh, and I am looking at this literally being my home.... Job ends soon, and I am thinking of going on the road in the ren circuit. Maybe I am a little crazy. But, seriously, any ideas on things I should look for would be well appreciated before I plunk down cast....I am headed down to look at it tomorrow, so any more information on "Things to make sure and Look at" would be well appreciated.

A whole new exciting adventure.......

For those w/ RV's based on the Sprinter 3500 chassis, I wonder how easy it is to get Sprinter dealers to service your RV. Are they always accommodating?

My lovely barefoot Countessa,

At the risk of being a "downer" I'd really have to say- keep looking.
If you're contemplating doing "ren faire gypsy", I'd look for one in better shape. Tackling a roof leak is a real project. And having a
water heater bypassed is not so bad but if it wasn't replaced, that says a lot. There may have been a good reason it sat for a while.
Keep looking- a good older rig isn't hard to find. Take your time and
unless you feel perfectly comfortable doing something to repair a problem, don't. Older rigs do require some degree of money/time/labor
investment, but if you look closely, ask plenty of questions and get
help and advice, you can come out "to the good", and have a vehicle that's not only very dependable, but also unique.

Please feel welcome to browse the thread and visit with us! Ask
and if we know we'll share, otherwise; dumb looks and headscratching
are still free... I personally wish you the absolute best in your adventure!!! I remain happily

At your service, my Lady,

Mark, whiteknight001
