stabbin cabin wrote: ![]() i need to replace my Aqua Magic IV toilet, Hey Stabbin....I replaced my IV also with the V. All the hook ups, hose conns amd mounts are the same,(on mine) I had no trouble. There are 2 sizes though, watch if you need/want/can use the taller one. I had to stick with the lower one, because of a cabinet mounted on the wall behind it. As for the foot flush, I went with what I had (turn handle), because the foot peddle would not fit with my toilet, as it is mounted on a raised shelf. I would prefer the foot peddle, if it fits, I'd go for it. Everything you need to install the toilet comes with it, however I extended my water inlet hose for easier access. Hopes this helps. ![]() |

(eight lugs nuts arranged in a 6-1/2" diameter circle) If so, just about anywhere ... they're common but can be hard to find. I got six used rims for $450 for a junkyard but had to wait six months before the junkyard found some. (Some people - at least up here - hang onto dually rims like that 'cause there's always a use for them.) BTW - if they are 8 on 6.5, Ford rims and even some Chevy rims fit ... just gotta be careful with offset and clearance with non-Dodge rims ... check first. Basically, anything with a Dana 60, 70, or 80 dually rear axle typically uses these rims. 1970 Explorer Class A on a 1969 Dodge M300 chassis with 318 cu. in. Actually, many of the stock steel rims are made in the same place and the only real difference is whether there's a pentastar, bowtie, or oval stamped on the inside. Try places that sell parts for or service commercial trucks and 18-wheelers. I found replacement rear leaf spring bushings, in stock, at one such place. |

Dig back in this thread to about August, maybe September? We discussed this in pretty good detail. I bought brand new 16" for my rig. I got them from an eBay store down south. They did end up shipping me the wrong ones, so I modified them instead of adding another 2 months wait... GM wheels will NOT fit the Dodge axels. The center hole on the GM wheels are SMALLER, though the bolt pattern is the same. They sent me GM wheels, so I ground out the center holes to get over my axel flange. If you are searching for Ford wheels (or Dodge, International, Jeep, etc), just make sure they are NOT hub-centric, and odds are pretty good they'll be just fine. Is the savings on tires really enough to justify buying new rims? The tire dealers in my area still sell the 8.00 x 16.5 that are on my rig. I think the rate is around 180 bucks per. Just curious....
I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere! |

I think the rate is around 180 bucks per. Just curious.... I'd say no, assuming you can get the kind of tire you want in the less common 8.00 x 16.5 size. I want Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor in LT235/85R16 because of their snow/ice performance. (If it's slick enough to need studs, I put the chains on.) Those of you who only need a three-season tire with highway tread can probably find what you need in almost any size. The main reason I changed rims is to replace the original split rims with one-piece tubeless rims. (I really don't like split rims because they can be extra dangerous to work on ... and I mount all my own tires.) |
