Topic: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?

Posted By: Trish Davis on 09/25/07 08:18pm

hola, folks, I missed you.
Last 2 days, I've missed everything including meals....

Ok, which color you like?
The blue, the white, the red, the exposed & weathered wood?

Harley plate's not mine, it was on there.
I'm pathetic, I have a Rebel....

Ahh, Leeann, that's not the title. It's the towing bill.
And the gawd-awful chromed barbed wire license plate frame was the tackiest thing The Son could find to complete the picture. Bibs, grease, ugly MH in front yard... yep, this IS Appalachia! *g*

Eric, you win. Red wheel are gonna happen --with chrome lug nuts.
selectric.org/Travco see the thumbnails at the bottom for an example of The Thing's up-and-coming paint scheme.

My Rebel is black pearl with custom flames.
So will my Travco be.
Happy now? *g*

Shame The Son didn't get a good pic of the wrecker, it's very nice and brand-new.
The towing bill made next month's payment on it.

One of these days, when we all get ours rigs up and running, we are just going to have to have a POW WOW!!!

Just think of the fun it would be to plow through each others rigs....[emoticon]

I'll buy the Beer.........[emoticon]

Youch! Sorry....I think I'd rather believe it's the title [emoticon]

Notice I didn't mention the license plate frame???

Oh, cool...black pearl with custom flames sounds awesome. But rather hot in the summer....

Gary, you are DEFINITELY a glutton for punishment - methinks you'd better bring a keg or two [emoticon]

Did somebody say "Free Beer"? I'm there! [emoticon] I'm all for a pow-wow!

Nice rig, Trish! You told me about your paint jobs before, and I agree the truck will look awesome!

Thanks Leeann for posting the pics!

She ain't purdy, but at least she's slow!

No "custom" black pearl for The Thing. It's getting semi-gloss black Rust-Oleum.
DO NOT park your motorhome under a tree!
Sap is bad, it pretty much "ate" the gelcoat clear down the left side.

Like my buddy said "if it's ugly, it might as well make a statement."
I have no idea what The Thing has to say for itself.

Flames will be done by a local fella who's known for his "less-than-realistic" body paint.
He's won awards, he's that good.
A swirly orange in front to coordinate the bike, so it looks like fire is shooting out of the radiator.....
Paint is down the road, not exactly structurally important. It can wait.

Who said "beer?" Uh-uh.
Good bet that half the issues The Thing has are the result of a "Six beers and eureka! What a good idea!" NOT.

These wheels are something else... 16", 6-bolt, split rims.
Replacing the hubs is outta the question.
Of course, finding wheels to fit may also be outta the question.

Must go, rain is forecast for later......

Yes, dear, and thank you... *g*
"Youch," indeed.

Trish - I don't know what that stuff is, but they do sell panels of stuff at Home Depot / Lowe's etc. for doing shower enclosures. We need to replace at least one of the 3 walls in our bathroom/shower, actually...

This summer when I was changing oil on my 1979 dodge Rockwood I ran into a problem. When I went to put the drain plug back in, it never tightened (stripped). What is the BEST solution to the problem.

I have a similar problem with my shower, one of the walls has the waterproof vinyl peeling off. I hope I can repanel the shower with some kind of pastic or composit material that will do the job... A.

I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere!
