What I would do is consult your local muffler shop. The guy I'm going to use is a good friend of my father-in-law's. They both worked at Kit Manufacturing, welding RV chassis. This guy is phenomenal with his welding skills.
Or, you can sell what you have and buy these: Mopar LA Shorty Headers

Awesome this thread is still going. I had started posting here I think in 2009 when I had a 1976 class C. I now have the class B 1989 Dodge Xtra Van. I bought this for it last week. Sometimes it can be a Mystery Machine!
See Picture In My Profile
I have a 1989 Dodge XPLORER RV Class B - Purchased 10/15/10 IN CASH
Fiance' purchased a Class C 2002 Dynamax Carri-go on 5/1/15 IN CASH
We've got the best of both worlds

The Monaco Winchester lives again!!!!!
I took it for its maiden voyage to our friends' house today. Then I took it over to my engine builder's place. The cruise control works like a dream and keeps the speed right where you set it.
When I got home, I parked it where it's going to sit for the winter, perpendicular to our garage.
I'm done for the season. Next season I'll start up again and finish this sucker once and for all. Hopefully we'll be able to take our first trip, but if we don't, I'm not sweating it.

I went through mine and cleaned it up. The foam that was in there was rotted, so I cut some leftover foam that I had, when I rebuilt my heater core box and substituted that and it worked.
I have my list for next season:
1) Suspension
2) A/C (both in-dash and roof)
3) 4K generator
4) Install black tank & plumb it
5) Toilet
6) Coach battery cutoff switch
7) New steering gearbox

Looking for proper parts... and maybe a walk through for replacing control arm bushings and Radius arm bushings. How difficult is it? Possible to be done in a driveway with normal tools? Need to take care of this sooner rather than later...
Also... thinking about adding a electric fuel pump back at the tank to create positive pressure. My Genset fuel is split off the line for the engine. When running, the Genset pump doesn't seem strong enough and the engine pump pulls it all starving the generator.

I assume you're referring to the rubber/polyurethane bushings. In general, no, it's not especially difficult. Getting at them without affecting alignment will be the biggest challenge. I've used a hex socket and heavy C-clamp to do it in the past. (Socket as a drift/driver and C-clamp to press them out and in.)
There should be a separate fuel pump for each fuel user (engine and genset). Separate fuel tank pickups are ideal but not always possible.
The fuel pumps for small engines in gensets assume they are the only user of a fuel source. So, your situation is common when someone 'cuts corners' through inadequate knowledge or an effort to reduce costs.
