Isabel Pass, April 30th, 2013. I thought I had posted this here in the photo gallery, but it was in TC in general (or so that is what it looks like). So here it is now. I like the other (green) pictures better!

On our maiden voyage, May 11, 2013. On way to Destin, Fla. spent the night at a beautiful rest area w designated camping pullouts, in Mississippi. Very quiet and secure. Here's the info if you're ever in need:
Rest Stop, Gautier, Mississippi 39553 - Rest Area EB, On 10, Exit: 63, GPS: 30.43762, -88.62615
Stayed at Henderson State Park in Destin, fantastic campground.

Please note, the maximum photo width=640.

Our new rig on it's maiden voyage. The day we picked it up we camped outside of La Grande, Or at Red Bridge State Park. Great campground and yes, everything in our new 996 worked flawlessly! This floor plan is perfect for us and actually has bigger beds than the A.C.E we rented while making a decision which rig to purchase. A factory tour at Northwood was the icing on the cake and gave us even more confidence that we chose the right manufacturer. We're getting over 12.5 mpg loaded climbing up to 7,000 ft and running along at 70 on the Interstate. Can't ask for much more than that, especially since the A.C.E. 30-1 we rented got 6.8 mpg on gas. We've now got 4 nights under our belt in our 996 and have more planned soon.

Boy it's been a long time since I've been here... didn't know if my login would even work it's been so long... Life forced me to get rid of my camper in 2005 and life was good enough to let me have another...

Still have the same ol truck and she's been modified at little over the years. Went in a different direction this time so I can head into the back country a lot better. [emoticon]
