Actually I do READ THE POSTS, and for your info the Ram diesel uses the 68RFE and the Hemi powered uses the 66RFE 6 speed automatic transmission. Do you ever do any real research?
The Hemi Ram has not always used the 66RFE and the diesel sure as heck hasn't always used the 68RFE....

It looks like you can't even agree with yourself. ![smile [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
I agree that diesels get better mpg that gasoline engines. But that gap is closing with the push for more power and better emissions.

I get 11.5 towing 13K+ through the mtns
And I never said I made more hp. My 7.3 was rated @ 250 and with my mods I've gained about 80 more. BUT it will out tow a gasser with equal wgt. But I will never convince these gasser owners till one steps up to a contest. Don't believe everything you see on youtube.

He was talking about the new diesel engines having lower fuel efficiency than one like your 7.3.
In the same truck, the engine with more power (Horsepower) will still have a higher top speed no matter how much weight is being pulled or the level of incline. Yes, the engine with higher torque will get to that top speed alot easier and faster and provide a much more pleasant towing experience.
