Cancellations and Refunds
What is the cancellation policy for Coast to Coast reservations?
Cancellation policies are based on how far in advance the reservation is canceled. Different rules apply for cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, less than 24 hours in advance and for no shows.
What happens if I cancel my reservation more than 24 hours before check-in?
If you cancel more than 24 hours before check-in, your reservation will be refunded as follows:
Trip Credits: Refunded and added back to your Trip Credit balance
Credit Card Payments: Refunded to your credit card
Processing fee: Non-refundable if the reservation was paid by credit card
Trip Credit refunds may take up to 5 business days to reflect in your account.
What happens if I cancel my reservation less than 24 hours before check-in?
If you cancel less than 24 hours before check-in:
The first night of the reservation will be charged
The processing fee is non-refundable
Any remaining nights will be refunded based on your payment method
Example:
For a 3-night reservation:
1 night is charged
2 nights are refunded
Processing fee is not refunded, if paid by credit card
What time does the 24-hour window start?
The 24-hour cancellation window is based on your scheduled check-in date and time at the resort. Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in are subject to first-night charges.
How long does it take for a refund to be processed?
Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days, depending on your payment method and financial institution.
How are refunds handled based on payment method?
Refunds are returned to the original form of payment:
Trip Credits: Refunded back to your Trip Credit balance
Credit Card Payments: Refunded to your credit card
Processing fees are not refundable for credit card transactions.
Will Trip Credits ever be refunded to a credit card?
No. Trip Credits are always refunded back to your Trip Credit balance and cannot be converted to cash or refunded to a credit card.
Can I modify my reservation instead of canceling?
Modifications may be available depending on the resort and timing. If you need to make a change, we recommend doing so as early as possible. Please contact Member Services for assistance.
No-Show Policy
What is considered a no-show?
A no-show occurs when a member does not check-in at the resort and does not cancel the reservation in advance.
What happens if I am a no-show?
No-shows follow the same policy as cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in:
The first night will be charged
The processing fee is non-refundable
Any additional nights will be refunded according to payment method used
Processing Fee
What is the processing fee?
The processing fee is a small, required charge applied to reservations paid by credit card. It helps cover transaction and payment processing costs.
When is the processing fee charged?
The processing fee is charged at the time you make a reservation when payment is processed.
Is the processing fee refundable if I cancel my reservation?
No. The processing fee is nonrefundable.
Why is the processing fee nonrefundable?
The processing fee covers transaction and payment processing costs that are incurred at the time of booking. Because of this, the fee is not eligible for a refund.
Does the processing fee apply if I use Trip Credits?
If Trip Credits are used and a credit card is required for any remaining balance, the processing fee applies to the credit card portion.
Is the processing fee charged per night or per reservation?
The processing fee is charged per reservation, not per night.
Will I be notified of the processing fee before completing my reservation?
Yes. The processing fee will be clearly displayed during the checkout before you complete your reservation.
