When i wiggle the 12v hot wires going into my water pump, it runs. If I don't touch them, nothing.

I have to hold one of the wires in an exact spot for it to continue to run.

I tested and it's getting 12v

It's a seaflo water pump with strainer.

a lot like this one https://www.amazon.com/Diaphragm-Priming-Gallons-Marine-Demand/dp/B00P8BE6S8/

I cannot pull the wires out to inspect and I cannot take it apart right now (night time). I will in the morn

Should I get a new pump or keep trying to repair this one?

Sounds like a broken connection. If you can open it and find the break to fix, fine. If not, replace it.

Are wiggling wires into pressure switch or motor itself? Shurflo sells pressure switches.

I would check the wire connectors where they attach to the switch on the pump.

The right hand side, the 2nd wire in, that is the one that i have to hold or jiggle to get the pump going. I don't know if it's hard wired in, but I will take it apart today.

That is the contacts of the pressure switch. It has a 1/4-inch quick connector. Could be loose Should pull off. Should be tight

Had that happen with a piece of electronics here in my apartment

One of the wires was broke When I wiggled it the fact became obvious (Built in diagnostic flagged it) This was a werid one as the break was mid-run.

On the Motor home I had a bunch of stuff stop workign.. Here is the circuit

Battery-fuste---wire to distribution panel-- branch circuits to stuff.

The wire.. had a "Fault" (not a break) mid run and I was able to cut and splice and excise the fault.. All good after that.

Home was where I park it. but alas the.

I had to replace the power cord to the monitor for my Airstream's backup camera. One of the wires had a break right at the connector. It would only work if I was pushing the wire in and down. After replacement, no further problems. It does happen.
