Has power service changed their formula, just bought some. Had some left over from last winter. The new bottle is a lighter color than what I had left over from last winter

Not aware of any changes. Your 1 year old white bottle probably has discolored with age.

I use the white jug in the winter (below freezing) and silver jug in the summer.
Check out Power Service website for differences.
