10 years ago this part fell out on the ground when I put the slide out, out. I jacked up the slide high enough to put it back in.
The slide out frame rides on this pad as it goes in and out.
It is a hard plastic material but must be really tough to handle the motion.
Last week it came out again.
It is still in pretty good shape but I'm thinking it might be good to get a new one.
What is it ?
Where do I get it ?
How should I attach it to the RV ?
Originally it had 2 screws on it, but they broke off years ago, maybe some JB weld , not sure.

Just a guess, but looks like something designed to reduce friction when parts slide together. You can buy things likely made out of similar material, to set furniture on, move around room. Shape with a saw.
1 of the tool boxes in garage, bottom bowing to point wheels would not caster. I replaced the wheels with pieces of a cheap cutting board. Don't move often, but when a nut rolls off bench behind it, I can.

It looks like a piece of UHMW, which is quite often used on sliding surfaces - just as you indicated. If you can't find the exact replacement part, you can buy UHMW in different sizes from places like McMaster Carr and fab up your own replacement.

2004 Mandalay should have HWH slide systems. This link shows the pic of the Nylon glide. I don't know if HWH still supplies the shorter Nylon glide or you have to purchase the 8 foot piece and cut and drill the counter sunk holes for your particular fit. Doug
