Was wondering if anyone can help me with what a red blinking light means on my Carrier Air V RV Rooftop AC unit i didn't get a manual with it when i bought the pull behind RV/Camper any help would be greatful....

Hi Kukana73, welcome to the forum. I can see you posted about your trailer in the truck campers forum. No worries though the mod will probably move it to a more appropriate forum like tech issues.

Until then though we can most likely answer your question on the blinking light but might need more information from you.

What year is the trailer, does the AC look like it's probably the original or possibly replaced?

Where is the blinking light? Is it up on the ceiling, or inside the filter housing or up on the roof?

Does the AC work when the light is blinking? or if not working or not cooling does it make any noises?

Does the AC blow air but just not cold air?

Any additional information you can give us will help us figure out what's going on.

Yr is 2006 Outback by lite way looks like it's original AC the blinking light is on circuit board behind the green an red lights the AC unit is in ceiling inside RV not sure if light was blinking when had on 2 nites ago blew cold air but after ran for hr or more started smelling something so shut off an that's when noticed flashing light ran for 30 mins yesterday still blew cold just with not knowing about light didn't want to run long also runs fairly quiet
