We have 7.3 V8 in our Bounder with 4000 miles on it started misfiring.Has anyone had this happen took it to ford dealer.We had not heard back from them yet.

They had a bad run of spark plug wires too.

Ford will replace them. I replaced all 8 and that cured the problem. Call Ford customer service.

Misfires are either a failed spark plug wire or early stages of lifter failure.
