My RV was connected to shore power. I was vacuuming with a shop vac plugged into a GFI outlet in the RV. Then the power to the vacuum just stopped. Nothing in the GFI outlets.
The non-Gfi outlets were still working. All of the breakers were fine.
I thought it might be the GFI outlet so I replaced it. Same result.
After trying everything I could think of, I happened to turn off the shore power. Now not only do the GFI outlets not work on the inverter the non-GFI outlets don't either.
I am confused. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Tim Henry

Tffin did NOT power all 120 receptacles off the Inverter. Just certain outlets usually in Kitchen(not all just 1) and bedroom and Bath. TV's are powered thru the Inverter as well as Microwave. Nver state Breaker or assume breaker are fine. ALWAYS, when you have this type problem, Turn off all the 120 breakers and reset. Don't assume a visual will work. IF the TV's and Microwave power up on Shore power, your Inverter 120 pop it breakers are good. Reset the breakers and report back. Doug

You need to test for power at the actual GFCI (the outlet with the buttons) both on the inlet leads and the outlet leads.

Disconnect the "Load" leads from the GFCI and see if it sets/resets and lets you use it.. If it does not the problem is "Upline" (Toward the inverter. or the inverter itself. look for circuit breakers ON THE INVERTER).. if things now work off the GFCI itself... Your problem is down line. Unplug everything that is connected to a GFCI protected outlet. TEST the Gfci and then connect the load leds.. Reset it and see if a lamp plugged in still works. If it does. Great.
Now start plugging in stuff.. Light on Good. Click of darkness FOUND THE PROBLEM.

Have you reset the CB, on the side of the Magnum? See pic! Items 16 and 17, on the side of the Magnum.

That was a good suggestion to check the Circuit Breakers. The were all OK.
I tried a Soft Reset of the Inverter with no change in symptoms. Then I tried a Hard Reset of the Inverter again with no change in symptoms.

As of now, the Inverter seems to work fine. It will run the Fridge and the Microwave and the TV's. But the Outlets, both normal and GFI are dead on the Inverter. On Shore power the Charger charges the batteries fine and the Fridge, Microwave, TV's etc work fine. Also the non-GFI outlets work on Shore power.

So everything is OK except the outlets. Outlets work on Shore power but not on Inverter. GFI-outlets don't work on Shore power or Inverter.

I'm at a loss as to what it could be unless there is something wrong with the Inverter. It is in a 35' Diesel Class A RV, a Tiffin Allegro Red 33AA.

Thank you for your help so far.

My ME2012 only has the AC input breaker on the side. The other spots are just covered.
The AC input breaker was good.

This suggests the inverter transfer switch is not working.

Did the Outlets use to work on the inverter? Check the voltage at the inverter outlets both with the inverter on and off.

My ME2012 has a 30A input CB and 2 20 output CBs, one for the MW and the other for the GFCI circuit.
