 | Do you have a '23 on order or have you rolled your order into '24?

We had a '23 7.3 gas on order but will now be a '24. Originally a XLT but was changed to a Lariat so I'm sure that's what did it. Having said that, I'm fighting that itch for a new Super Duty 6.7 HO

 | I should be getting my '23 Platinum with the HO in early October. Maybe should be passing on it and getting a '24.

 | Here's the 6.7 HO pulling 10k racing a empty Chevy gasser. The Ford has a 3:31 rear end with larger tires and the Chevy has 3:73 and factory tires.

 Enjoy...

 | RAM having adjustable spots is a waste of money as I set mine once to the furthest out position and never adjusted again.

My big concern for the FORD is the HOT transmission temps. I never see over about 172 pulling in near 100 degrees on long 6% grades. Most of the time I run 165-167.

Shows how dumb it is to do a leveling kit on a tow vehicle.

No denying it it has a ton of power!

 | Nice ford fanboi video. Yeah, completely objective with a whopping 5000 views so far.

I’m sure it’s a nice truck but I’d love to see a real calculation of that grade. It doesn’t look like 6%.

Couple other observations. He mentioned at the beginning of the video that the DTE changes when a trailer is hooked up. Anyone know how that is calculated? I can do it on my expedition and last time I did, DTE went up with it in the towing setting. That doesn’t make sense to me.

On the transmission temps, is there anywhere published that shows what normal operating temps are? I know my ZF8HP runs above 200 solo. I saw 230* towing with my expedition in the rolling hills on I25 in Wyoming. I just don’t think that 224* that showed during the review is anything to worry about.

The Ford transmission temp is controlled by a thermostat. Don't know about the 10 speed but the 6 speed transmission run the same temps and are a easy 500k -700k mile transmission and seen one go 1 million miles so these temps don't affect long term reliability.

I agree with the leveling kit on a tow vehicle.

He's actually a Ram fanboi and is only driving other trucks since he's now gone full time youtube. His current personal truck/s is GM.

Also the grades don't look realistic in any of the videos. An expert like you should know that by now.
