Good morning,

I have just noticed today, after an absence outside for 5 weeks, that my trailer batteries are discharged and that my 12V led lights do not work in the trailer. After investigation, I found out that the 12 volt output of the WF-8955AN converter have 0 volts. I checked the 120V input side and there was 120V but nothing on the 12V side.

I tested the small fuse built into the converter and there is continuity.

Is there anything else to check before ordering another one?

I was told during my absence that we had 2 majors power outage.

THANKS!!

There should be two reverse polarity fuses. Should be in left center of 12-volt distribution panel.

Thanks for your reply! Yesterday, I did not tested the 2 reverse polarity fuses because I mesure the DC directly on the power supply. This morning, I remove the 12V Power Supply and tested by connecting the AC side on a wall outlet and still 0 VDC.

So, I ordered on Amazon a replacement.

I hope that you read the other posts on almost every forum that state WFCO converters have a very high failure rate. I have owned 3 units with WFCO converters in them and all three would not work properly. The common failure is that they rarely go into bulk charging mode and get stuck at 13.2 volts output. They should go to 14.4 volts. All 3 of mine had this problem.

Forget WFCO if spending money

https://www.bestconverter.com/BD-1245-MB........-Stage-Main-Board-Replacement_p_521.html

Or direct here:

https://powermaxconverters.com/product/pm3-mba/

I recommend 35 amp for a single battery. 45 amp for 2-3 batteries.
