My camper described in the title has an awning over the rear door. The arms measure 7'3.5" from center-to-center and the fabric measures 6'5" wide. I'm in need of replacing this awning fabric. However, every site I find only sells these with a fabric length much longer that that. The shortest is 7'2" fabric width.
Anyone else ever replace their fabric on their awning and if so, how did you go about finding the fabric?
BTW, the awning brand is Carefree.
Thanks!

I haven't had to replace my rear awning like the one your referring to but I have had to replace the drivers side 9' pull out waning and also the slide topper cover.
I always found what I needed from the Carefree of Colorado website.
Just call their Ph# and speak to a tech their really helpful as to help figuring out exactly what you will need.
Good luck.

The Carefree website says they sell replacement fabric in various sizes. Might be worth a call.

I have replaced both fabrics on the rear awning and the slide-out topper,
and they were changed for fabric style, color change and a small rip.
I was able to order both on-line thru Carefree of Colorado and the
removing and install of the new ones were very straightforward and easy.

Yes, I wanted to go with them, but their smallest is a fabric length of 7'2" and mine measures 6'5". I could fit another inch or two, but not 9. They will custom make one, but charge another $40 on top of the $160 base price.

I am leaning towards this product. It is a heavier gauge material and it's less expensive by over $50. I also like the idea that they sew all three of the beadings into the fabric, making installation easier.
The downside is that it takes longer to receive, about 2 weeks compared to 24 hours for Carefree.
But I can wait, not raining for the time being.
