Curious as to how the interstate route will be dragging a 28’ trailer from Missoula to Billings. Dragged it from Billings up to east side of Glacier, then across rte 2 to West Glacier, but need to make some better time heading back. Map doesn't look too bad for altitude and grades.
Looking for info from those of you familiar with the interstate route. DW doesn’t like white knuckle descents.
Thanks!
Take care,

Done it several times, towing and not towing. All sorts of RV's run that route every day. It isn't a problem.
As to the condition of the road surface right now.....I don't know.

We went that way a few years back and it wasn't anything with the ups and downs. No hair-raising descents or climbs. Beautiful countryside though.

Went that route a couple of years ago. It was very good. I was "dragging", too.

Thanks for the great info. Did the route today and it was just fine, no issues at all. 6% grade for 6 miles was the longest descent and it was big sweeping curves and plenty of room. Nice road and in good condition.
Thanks again! Glad we chose this route.
