Grit dog wrote:^Apparently that’s what is perplexing the OP.
However after having an “old school” diesel without a factory DIC and presumably understanding the numbers and what they mean on the Edge on the old truck, it’s hard to make the connection as to why this is a question for the OP.
Now if only OEs had an EGT readout on newer diesels that would be nice. Ah another helpful post. Refer to your own previous post.

I can't believe how this normally helpful forum was so off the mark on this topic?
My original question was "On the new dashboards, how do YOU have your dashboard display configured to show your most important settings/gauges?"
I didn't ask how to configure, how to operate, how to navigate the screen setup ... I simply asked for some examples of YOUR favorite setup!
In the aviation world, setting up a NAV GPS, there's day long arguments about NORTH UP vs TRACK UP, but I don't think I've seen one of those discussions immediately dive to the bottom of the pool with "Hey, if you can't figure out how to set your GPS to Track Up, I'm not going to show you my setup."

Well what I display may be different than what is important to you. I have boost and speed, then a couple clicks away temp, trans temp, oil temp, and oil pressure. Another click and I have all six tire pressures.

Your question is deceiving as you show a pic of an aftermarket display. Taken literally the question is about the "DASHBOARD" meaning on the truck IMHO but you show something different.

Ok, that's an interesting twist I didn't think of! I didn't intend to deceive. The thought process was "This is what I had (the Edge gauge) and what parameters I used to watch. Now I have a new RAM display and it's a blank slate."
Original post basically said "Here's what I had - how do you have your dashboard set up?" ... I guess I don't see the confusion.

picture of the Edge display was here ...
On the new dashboards, how do you have your dashboard display configured to show your most important settings/gauges?
Thanks!

I have to stand by my original answer: I simply don't have the same things up all the time. Nothing ever seems to change so I pretty much just put it in gear and go.

I didn’t think your question was confusing. I do think you have a number of folks here that for some reason have decided to be difficult.
On my 2012 I would toggle between the tranny temp and the coolant temp.
On my 2023, I keep it on the display below. I’m still getting used to the truck and the temps. The highest coolant I’ve seen is 217*, then the fan kicked on. At the same time, the transmission went to around 200, but so far it usually hangs out around 165.
