Can someone PLEASE tell me where the fresh water tank fill is located on the 349 model of the Intruder?

I have searched the internet high and low and cannot find an answer. There is NO outside fill anywhere on the RV. Yes, I know what to look for! There are No gravity feed options.

There is NO way to switch from City Water fill in the wet bay. No levers, switches, or other fill options other than waste flushing system.

I have seen pictures of 2001 Intruders that do have outside fill connections and some that do not. Mine does not. I asked the previous owners and they had no clue as they only ever used city water.

There HAS to be a way to fill this darn tank. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME?

There shoud be two ways to fill the fresh tank
On the driver's side in what I call the "Wet Bay" (Where you hook up hoses) Should be a City Fill or Quick Fill or some other valve.. Hook up like you were on a full hook up site and switch to "FILL"

On the passenger side is a square door.. Locked.. It takes that famous "Fits nearly all RV" keys And behind it is a cap about 1 1/2" in diamater.. That's the fill cap. for the "Gravity fill"

Home was where I park it. but alas the.

after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios

In this video, you can clearly see a gravity fill right in front of the bedroom slide, passenger side next to the water heater. It claims to be a 2001 Damon Intruder 349.

FINALLY FOUND IT !!!!!

NOT where I thought it would be. I have it parked in the side yard with the bedroom slide out. The fill is actually on the side of the slide! What a strange place for it. I kept looking on the side of the RV. Never occurred to me that it would be on the slide itself. Thanks so much for the assist and info guys. I even have the owners manuals and they do not tell where the fresh water fill is. Learning a new RV IS sooooooo much fun!

Wow, that IS weird.

Hope they didn't put the holding tank itself in the slide did they?

The tank is in the bay directly below the slide. Sure seems like a wacky place for it to be. Especially, since the tank is supposed to be heated. Darned if I can figure out how.

The pictures I saw online of some of the 2001 Intruders had the fill location above the wet bay next to the water heater. Guess it all depended on the specific model where they put it.

The tank is heated with a vent from the RV's furnace.. in case you wondered. not wired electric heat but forced air heat.

Thanks for letting me know about heating the tank. Love RV.net and the incredible kindness of all onboard that share their knowledge.
