Of what? As far as the atmosphere (air) around our rig, I have a personal weather station on a pole on the ladder. A less expensive alternative would be one of the wireless indoor/outdoor thermometers. Inside the rig there is the monitoring station for the PWS which gives inside temp as well as the thermometers and temp displays on both thermostats.

We have a wireless temperature sensor located in our large propane bin that's open to the outside air. The temp displays on the "atomic" clock on the wall in our living area along with the indoor temp, time, and date.

Basic indoor/outdoor thermometer. Be sure to place the outdoor sensor in a location with free air flow and never in direct sun.

The cheap way is to get one of those stick-on thermometers that go on the outside of a window.
We have a wireless with three remote senders. One under the propane tanks, one in the fridge freezer and one in the bedroom. About $40 from Amazon IIRC

We have an "Ambient Weather" brand weather station that will monitor 3 sensors. The sensors are hung under 3 corners of the RV - at least one will be in shade. It is interesting to read the 3 sensors at different times of the day as well as the high and low for the day at each sensor.

Well there are proper ways and normal ways
Standard method is an outside thermometer You can set it on the picnic table but make sure it's in the shade.
If you want to get "Fancy" design a "pagoda" type house to set over it. Good ventilation and fully shaded so it's not reading sunlight.
Now there are lots of proper "Shells" for outside thermometers.
Oh. you can get one of the wireless types so you can read the outside temp. from inside...
Just make sure it's out of the sun and has good ventilation around it.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Add me to the wireless in a propane cabinet club. I know it is not accurate there, but it is close enough for government work. Shaded. Open to air from the bottom. Placed on an outside wall so that minimal effect of coach interior temp.
