New to me 2021 Sunseeker Classic on an E 450 Ford Chassis. This unit has the Ford "Godzilla" V8 engine. Itis getting close to the time to change the oil and filter. Anyone know the filter number for this engine? I use the combination synthetic and petroleum oil blend!

is there something special about the Godzilla engine? I would go to Autozone.com and put in 2021 E-450 and type in Oil Filter. It will give you a plethora of appropriate filter brands to choose from.

In my opinion, the filter is as important as the grade of oil. The Motorcraft filter for my diesel was useless. Oil started to show dirty in weeks. They're made in china. I use nothing but NAPA Gold filters.. They cost a few bucks but what's my powerstroke worth??

Fleet vehicles being operated for so many miles don’t care which oil filter is being used. Changing the oil and filter at regular intervals will keep todays gas engines running smoothly for hundreds of thousand’s of miles.
Problems can occur with rvs that sit idle for long periods of time , not being driven. That can do more engine harm than any oil filter will do. Drive it ! Use it !
Don’t be fooled in todays world in which we live. Just because it says made in USA doesn’t mean it is !
Btw, i think the new Ford 7.3 uses the same filter as the V10 - FL 820S, cross reference it to be sure. That info , as said, is available on any automotive parts site.

Please explain why you care about the part number for the oil filter. IMO, oil filters are one of the most common, easily cross referenced maintenance items for all vehicles, and, they are readily available. You don't need to know the part number. Year, make, model, engine size, (which you already have) . . . . bingo, there ya go.

NAPA and WIX are the same filters. look at how close in numbers they are. Our WIX rep went and watched them being made at the facility that makes NAPA.
Both have proven to be an excellent filter.
Filters are like lead acid batteries, the less costly ones have less filtering material or less quality than the costlier ones. Cheap lead acid batteries have less plates.

I only use Baldwin filters so for your application it would be a Baldwin B329.

I change oil by miles and not time so every 4000 - 4500 miles. I use the NAPA Platinum oil filter which has full synthetic media. The filter is the same between the 6.8L V10 and the 7.3L V-8: 41372. I’ve also used the Ford Motorcraft Racing version of the FL-820S which is M-6731-FL820 but is more expensive.
