Thanks Troy. I was going to post that before you did but I knew the fan Boi's would whine about the it being YouTube, and it's fake and bla, bla, bla.
I wonder if Ford got their 7.3 valve train parts from the same off shore place Cummins got theirs?

It looks like the mid 70's to the mid 80's all over again.
I just went out and gave my low HP LBZ a hug.

Hot shotters are the canary in the cage for us RV'ers. Thanks again man.

Don't know if the 7.3 got it's lifter issues resolved, but I don't think its that systemic as the cummins failures.

I don't recall lifter failures from the 70's and 80's.

Wow, you'd think the hot shotters would be using something other than Ram/Cummins if they're falling apart all along the roadside, but I seem to see just as many as ever. Maybe it isn't as big a deal as the youtubers, desperate for clicks and views, would want us to believe. Just a thought.

They are... seeing less and less Ram's every year now. And you never would see a HD Ram Hemi and now I see them daily. Heck even Ram service trucks are now popular with the Hemi which is unimaginable.

I don't really care, my Ram is working fine, poop on the naysayers. When I start seeing them sitting along the roadside, and not just on youtube channels, I still won't worry. Just not my way of living. [emoticon] You can do the worrying for both of us.

Shoot the messenger. Doesn’t matter who posts legitimate info about potential problems with any specific brand, that person and that info will get blasted by that brand’s fanboys. [emoticon]

With gas a dollar a gallon, or more, cheaper, about the same mileage, a little lower maintenance, why wouldn't you see more gas engines? Just makes sense to me.

So most of the 5th generation Rams, 2019, 2020, and 2021 don't have issues? Hmm from the sky-is-falling post to open this thread I thought it was all the years. Who knew? Oh well, maybe next time.

Lantley meant “dumb” when he said “odd”, lol.
It makes zero sense, or cents, to have a gasser hotshot truck. Actually it makes negative cents!
Unless maybe he was hot shotting only in the city with a little tiny trailer. But around here we call those couriers…

Those videos are horrible! nothing but repeat the same sentence from what I can see. He can cut both of them in half time wise, if he would not walk around the truck blabbering about nothing at all.
Got two minutes in, quit watching.
The link to the 22 page sticky came up after I looked at fish's second post.....
Still, this guy needs to get to the point sooner than later. I gave up on both at about 2 minutes.

My 02 on these video's.

I wanted to quit but I really wanted to see these AISIN failures. But as usual bashing a non subject.
