No one says their RV'ing experience is ruined, these things listed are pet peeves. Nothing says they have to bother you, and I certainly don't let them spoil a second of my time. This is starting to sound like when you say you don't care for someone/something, you become an instant "hater". Does the campground have any rules not allowing use of cheesy LED lights all over the RV? If not, you might be better served by staying at one that does have such rules.

Ron, it's peeve, not a major issue. I've been lucky and have rarely had "bad" neighbors. When one does show up, they seem to exhibit more than one of these unfortunate behaviors. The same guy that runs a leaf blower might also have landing strip lights and a barking dog. Not really surprising as all this is related to the need for attention and an entitled mentality. They are the center of the universe and we all need to see them as such, right? Fortunately, in my experience most folks would rather be courteous than offensive.

The no purpose LEDs on front caps seem to be a common peeve with an awful lot of people. Hopefully this fad will disappear from builders before too long & they will find something else to bling up an otherwise cheap unit.
It would be so nice if these lights were less intrusive by using a lower brightness & an easier on the eyes colour such as red or blue.
I don't know if their use is a regional thing at all but thankfully in my experience the use of these lights is rare. I'd take a guess & say that most of the users of these lights are newbs who have not gotten into the hang of looking around & seeing what others are or are not doing & seeing what people do to minimise the intrusiveness of their lights on others.

If your looking for things to complain about at the other guys site, I'm sure you can find something each trip.
If you are putting in the effort to enjoy your own site you won't care what the other guy is doing.
Sometimes the key to a successful camping experience is MYOB - Mind Your Own Business.
Try it sometime and you won't have to post about your Pet Peeves on the net.

Is there a problem with running a leaf blower? I have one for things like blowing debris off the top of my slide before pulling it in. Never seen any rules against that either. Your going to have a hard time finding a campground with all these rules you need to keep you from having a bad day.

Part of the light problem is the trend even at home to light up everything. I have a neighbor that felt the need to add a mercury vapor light on the front of the garage even thou there is already a city street light on each corner of his property.

I turned on the LEDs on my front cap and they're almost all burnt out so I turned them off again. Maybe it's a self correcting problem.
