Thanks, I had an H-pipe and FlowMaster cat back exhaust on my 5.0L HO Mustang.
It sounded great. Like a health 5.0L.

YouTube link to exhaust sound. Its louder in person.
I got the hedders and the mufflers installed.
Its louder than I was hoping for, its louder in person.
And I'm not happy about where the mufflers ended up so it will be off to the exhaust shop soon.

The truck rocks and I am soo pleased with that Mercury Marauder 410 4V.

Here's the factory manifolds. The right one is on top. Had they both been like the left one I might have just
gone with dual exhaust but the right one just looks a bit too restrictive to me.

Just a short drive. I didn't start pushing it until I was 1/2 way thru 3rd gear.
Just a couple of short videos of how the new exhaust turned out.

What flowmasters are those?
I swapped antique 40s for new 40 series on the old 454 and yours. But always curious to hear what others sound like. Was thinkin super 44s but whatever can’t imagine much of a diff between 40, 44, super, delta flow….
The 40s seem not as loud as one would think. No drone.
But also a long exhaust system, h pipe and side exits (behind rear wheel) tend to neuter a little noise on their own.
Like I told my son, it don’t have enough power to back up being “really” loud. Lol
