Thinking about getting a new Ford Lariat F-350 CC SB SRW with the 7.3 gas engine. The Tremor package has 18” wheels with 35” Duratrac tires, 2” factory lift, 4.30 gears, and off-road springs and shocks. I think this will come in with around 3600 pound payload.
Do you think you could safely put a 8-11 Northern Lite camper on this? Actual dry weight 2715.

You do the math. Will batteries, water, propane, people, generator, toys/bicycles, food/drink and other stuff add up to less than 885 pounds? Would be too close for me.

Looks like the Guide puts this at 3373 pounds payload. The option selector on the Ford website would not let me select the camper option without kicking me out of the Tremor package, which I really want. Tremor also adds a sway bar. Tire ratings are 3640 pounds. Roughly, this gives 650 pounds below payload. Two people, gear, and water will probably put me over by some amount.

Not impressed at all with a F350 at 3600 pounds of payload. Should be 3,893 to 7,033 pounds.
When I see all the bad a// trucks I know they can’t...just can’t...pull and/or carry much.

Ford isn’t offering this truck as a heavy TC hauler. It’s offering this truck to pull and lift a big TT...right?

Off road suspension means SOFT, it is designed to articulate and float over the whoopties, go with a truck designed for heavy loads instead. Look at the payload of a Ford Raptor, it isn't designed to carry much of anything but occupants, but the soft suspension will soak up the bumps in off-road conditions.

You should be fine, but do you really off-road or just want the kewl factor?
Eliminate the Tremor pkg and you can get payload ~ 4500# SRW gasser F350.
Maybe look at the FX4 pkg.
