The CDC publishes this information weekly.
Variant Proportions
Look at table “Unweighted Proportions of Variants of Concern and Other Lineages by State or Jurisdiction” which has 4 week total samples sequenced from each us state to get an idea about totals for sequencing.
The technology used to identify the sequence in a SARS-CoV-2 sample is the same used in the human ancestry or dog breed tests. It’s a relatively high throughput test after you have invested in the expensive instrument that runs the test.

The title summarizes the findings. This is one more study which explains why the CDC is altering masking recommendations.
Mark or Dr Doug - in this study, they mention "partial escape from polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies" They don't go on to explain that in the summary; but I'm taking this to mean that Delta might not respond as well to the monoclonal therapy being made available through the State of Florida? I'm seeing posts from Brevard County touting this as the "answer to the problem of hospital bed un-availability"; but if I'm right (that Delta won't respond as well as Alpha, for example), this would be really important information for a lot of people to know.

I see reports that they are still using the monoclonal antibodies as treatment, but I have not heard anyone speculate on the efficacy in Delta infections.
The difficulty in determining breakthrough case incidence is that a huge majority are "probably" not reported, minor cases in vaccinated people where testing isn't even done. The stats compiled are from "cohort" studies where a population is regularly tested (both vaccinated and not) and positives are reported.

That comment was related to information in a referenced study (ref #2) where in that study the authors evaluated monoclonal antibodies (covid-19 treatments), convalescent serum (polyclonal antibodies in serum from recovered patients), and serum from vaccinated patients (polyclonal antibodies produced by vaccines) to neutralize the delta variant from just one patient.
