Does anyone have experience or an opinion on this for a 19 ford Diesel?

Gee, just a little hard to understand your post. Regenerate more clearly.

No experience but I would like that option of turning on the regen process when I choose. So, if it is getting close, I know that I can turn it on when I am going to be driving awhile. Mine likes to cycle on when I am on short trips (luck of the draw). I would rather turn it on when it was 80 % full knowing I am on the highway for 30 minutes then wait for it to come on when I am driving 5 miles to a store.

That's my thoughts exactly but I can't find a dealer who wants to answer that question.

If you think it's worth it and you would use it, order it. It's not an expensive option.

Check your owners manual, it may be possible to start a regen if the DPF is at 100%.

They change something on the 19's? My 15 can only be dealer done & there is no message on how full the filter is.

On the 15s you can add the screen showing the dpf level and turn on a manual gen using forscan or have your dealer add it. I've added the dpf level screen to my dic on my 17 but I think the only way to get a manual regen option is to find a dealer that knows how to do it.

To the best of my knowledge, Ford does it's re-gen while going down the road or at dealer. In fact, I'm not sure of any pick up that you (owner) can do a manual re-gen. Semis you can, but don't think so of pick-ups.
