And there is some fine advice that didn't cost a nickel. Congrats on a fine choice Area13. May you find many comfy camping/traveling trips with a fine setup.

Area 13, Great choice! One of the reasons Host is successful is because they understand their market: different strokes for different folks=happy campers. Now, about that ignorant 2-handle shower faucet....

Good choice Area13! one question is it a 2018 or 2019? We ordered one from Tom's
Camperland in AZ due in February but its an 2018, just curious as to the cutoff date from an 18 to a 19. Ordered with the 2 chairs that fully recline. It's a well thought out innovative design. Having someplace to relax without sitting at the dinette sold us on the Cascade ( not to mention the fireplace!). The anticipation is part of the journey ![smile [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
hope you enjoy it..

2019's start in April and I decided to wait till then for my build to begin, told hopefully a quick turnaround. Just figured with this much dough I might as well get the newest model year possible even if I have to wait a little. It's exactly the same as the 18's, no changes.
When I talked my Wife back into getting a TC, she said she wanted a couch like our TT. We think that big cushy couch in the Cascade with the high low table and 1 chair (only option with the couch) looked like it would fit our needs. I know most people like the 2 chairs, and it looks cool, but then you have to get the dinette, we're weird I guess. With our configuration we're hoping to get better in and out of bed access as well since the 1 chair option doesn't block the bed entrance at all, everything has trade offs.

Nice choice Area13!
Sorta new to this TC world and found the Cascade info and threads.
We are looking at it in about a year.
Really like that layout but was not sure on the couch and single chair configuration.
So I can see that for just me and the wife, that makes a good option over the dinette and double recliners.
If you had more family then the other option mike be better.
I have seen the floating table in the Host video and it looks great.
When you say cushy couch can you say it's a lot more comfortable than a dinette?
It sure looks cushy!

The 6' couch replacement for the dinette is waaay more comfortable for us. We have owned both the dinette and side couch models of the Host Mammoth. The dinette back rest is vertical and the U seating under the window is cramped. The table is the icing on the cake. It is adjustable at any height, so it works for meals, computer use, and kickin' back and resting your legs on its surface. It's in-and-out adjustment works well for calorically challenged users. And, it's easy to slide fore and aft for easy exit from either end of the couch. Of course, this is just a personal preference, so it's probably best for you to test both models first.
