It happened down in LA somewhere? Maybe Time knows him?

Anybody know when the 621 mile Semi is coming out? Anybody?

Meanwhile in Tennessee, GM has started building the Cadillac LYRIQ. In Detroit, GM continues to actually build the Hummer EV super Truck.

Nobody needs to just take drone pictures. The plant is done. Vehicles being delivered as announced.

No outrageous deposits for years. Just doing what they announced.

And on the vernal equinox, GM has shared more detail for the all electric Equinox. Real EVs, that will be built and sold as announced.
So far everything out of GM has sold at low volume including the Volt and Bolt. I expect LYRIC and HUMMER to be similar.

GM still has not figured out an EV platform that actually sells at volume. Maybe the Equinox? Model Y already sells better than the ICE version. Good luck.

Tesla publicly stated goal is to make at least 1,500,000 vehicles in 2022, I expect it to be closer to 2 million. GM is to make 25,000 of the Lyric and to make 21,000 Hummers for a grand total of 46,000 EVs. I wish them success.

Tesla had a 30% profit margin in their products in 2021, It will be interesting to see what GM's margin is on their new products.

You have to admit Tesla is "jumping" in the lead. [emoticon]

Quote:

Why Tesla Stock Went Up Again

Not that Tesla necessarily needs help. As the Journal points out, sales of electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrids in Europe nearly doubled as a percentage of overall sales last year, to 18%. Tesla's biggest challenge at this point will be ramping up production to satisfy all the demand for EVs in Europe.

Granted, as the CEO pointed out last night, "The start of production is nice, but volume production is the hard part." But with Tesla targeting 5,000 to 10,000 cars per week produced by the end of this year, it seems the new German plant will be at least 50% operational -- and potentially even fully operational -- in just eight more months, maxing out its 500,000 car-per-year capacity.

Simply put: Tesla's off to the races in Germany. No wonder investors are excited.

Doesn't answer the question. How many watts are required to charge one semi, and at what rate is that based on
20% of the grid.
