I wonder if it would tow a small trailer?

Even a huge fifth wheel, me thinks.[emoticon]

But the looks, the looks...

Yeah, it's pretty ugly, but looks are very important to some people, and can be very deceiving. The Dodge MegaCab looks rough, tough, and macho, but can't pull squat when it comes to fifth wheels. Look at all the Harley riders, who think they have a big bad machine when it's weak, underpowered, and handles like a tractor. But, oh that perception.

And of course there are plenty of vehicles today that cost more than Model S Plaid.

In fact many of those cars are worth more than the Tesla S today! They weren't family cars either. The Tesla is a well engineered car no doubt but certainly a little pricey after > 10 years of sales. Part of their successful business model!

Ya can always justify the purchase: figure price per pound! Only $28.94 per pound!

Simple, if you can't afford it, it might not be for you.

I want a Mercedes G 63 converted to dually. I can afford it, but my family will have to live on it for 5 years while I'm amortizing it.[emoticon]

So I tell myself, ah, that's not for me while I'm drooling at it in the dealership.

Most folks could not afford a $36,000.00 vehicle, nor would they want to.

Yet Tesla cant keep up w demand for any of their cars, plenty of rich folks out there loaded w cash obviously.

Highly recomend watching MUNRO LIVE chanel to learn about Tesla and other EVs.
These guys are one of best engineering firm that has disected many cars to see whats good and whats not.
