Can't make AK on Superchargers either. I think CCS might connect or very soon.

We have done that route sooo many times in our motorhomes. Looks like there is pretty good CCS/Chademo coverage on that route. We are planning on taking that route back towing our trailer behind our Y in spring of 2024 after wintering in Puerto Penasco. I’m sure they’ll be some additions by then.

Dream come true and I bet Cybertruck will be equipped with this connection to Starlink where my phone and the GPS navigation via satellite with no blind spots.

Being lost in remote areas of Oregon and Sierra Nevada is so not cool.

Musk's SpaceX and T-Mobile plan to conne........hones to satellites, boost cell coverage[emoticon]

How does this thread appear to be immune to being shut down?

Why shut this thread down? It is active, and for the most part people are be moderately polite about the discussion.

From what I've seen threads here get closed, or posts just disappear, with no apparent violation of the posted rules. Your guess is as good as mine as to the reason. I've belonged to lots of forums and never had something deleted or closed without the moderator who pulled the trigger having the common courtesy to either post or send a PM explaining the action. But whatever. I think this thread certainly has strayed from the subject of a release date for a truck 5 years ago, into a ElonMuskaTeslaEVgreenie lovefest. Close it? Why? There are a lot of laughs to be had reading through it.

More like greasing the thread with on topic factual information.

Quite frankly I have enjoyed the journey and would like to see it through to the end.

Journey?
Are we still talking about the Tesla semi or is that a metaphorical reference?

"More like greasing the thread with on topic factual information."

Welllll, "on topic", yeah mostly. "Factual" mmmmm, maybe not so much. Lots of fan boy love notes and what could happen, and progress on buildings. Not so much about the actual semi production, as possible timelines, which, of course, are never met. [emoticon]

But, I agree, the thread is entertaining, and I'm curious as to the actual arrival of the production semi. So I say, let 'er roll on.
