Ironic,, isn't it ![]() Elon knows he could either make ten Model Y SUVs with a 30% profit margin or one semi with the same amount of 4680 cells this year but next year the Cybertruck and Semi will be in full production. ![]() BTW does GM, Ford or Dodge make a semi to transport their vehicles to their dealers ? 2002 Chevy Express LS 3500 8.1 155" WB passenger van 3.73 posi (GT4/G80) 2003 Thor Citation 41-ZBSR 41ft TT ![]() |

![]() fj12ryder wrote: What distance in miles are you calling huge gaps?![]() That's funny, I see the same map and notice huge, I mean huge gaps in coverage. Like western Iowa, southern Iowa, and lots of other places. You need to scroll that down to just realize how large those gaps really are. Maybe if you live in Minneapolis, or Chicago... Must be looking at a destination well off the interstate. Would be assumed the destination has electricity. Otherwise yes there must be places to randomly drive and avoid the SuperChargers. |

Hard to be specific unless the start and end is defined.

I would probably use the plugshare app, or just go to their website on a PC. That will give you a better feel of what’s out there. Honestly I took a look and it doesn’t look too bad, at least for a Tesla driver as they can use Tesla, CCS and Chademo. I also noticed a lot of wrenches which indicate there are a lot more coming. Anyway. I don’t live there so don’t know the topography. But it didn’t look like there were many gaps over 100 kilometres or so. The northeast corner looked a little skimpy but still, not really big gaps. |

Biggest gap I know has been LasVegas to Twin Falls via highway 93 that I am on every couple years. Looks like soon to be a super in Ely. Still 243 miles between and so soon will be doable. * This post was edited 08/22/22 09:40pm by time2roll * |
