Time, you said 2019 is when the Tesla Semi was going to prowl the roads of the US. 3 years later now you don't know when? Odd?
Nope. Just repeating what Elon had said at the time.

Still waiting for the bankruptcy. How it that coming? Nothing but delays from Tesla [emoticon]

Maybe everyone forgot about the $40M tweet that prevented Bankruptcy. The market manipulations, the $Billions of deposits on Semi and pickup, that saved the company.

No semi, no truck. Just propaganda.

Just a reminder, trolls are every bit as obnoxious as fan boys. Especially when it is very obvious that they are going out of their way to annoy others about a subject that they really don't even have an interest in.

On a more related topic, there is an electric semi in production now. Nikola has started their production line.

Nikola is up and running

Hard to believe they're talking about a vehicle that, as yet, doesn't exist. I mean they're talking like they just have to go out and pick it up tomorrow. But they're saying the semi is years away. Whaaaa?

AUSTIN, Texas — Tesla’s Austin Gigafactory is set for an invite-only opening party on April 7, according to a permit submitted to Travis County.

The party will include tours of the 8-million-square-foot facility, and may host up to 15,000 people. It kicks off at 4 p.m. and ends at 11:59 p.m. According to court documents, there will be food and live entertainment. Alcohol will be served to those of age. Only those with a ticket or invitation may attend.

The permit to host the opening party was approved by the Travis County Commissioner’s Court earlier this week.

The company just hosted another grand opening party for its first gigafactory in Europe this week just outside Berlin.

The Gigafactory Texas has been in construction since July 2020. Elon Musk said via Twitter that Tesla owners in the “greater Giga Texas area” will receive priority on being invited to the Giga Fest.?

In addition to serving as Tesla’s corporate headquarters, the facility will be the main production facility for the Tesla Semi and Tesla Cybertruck. It will also produce Model Y and Model 3 cars.

I have to wonder how your brain would have handled ICE engines in their infancy, heavier than air aircraft, re-usable rockets or the development of electricity into a life essential. Developing new tech for commercial applications rarely goes as smoothly as the developer hopes. But then, if the developer wasn't optimistic he would just stick with the herd and keep relying on the tech that he was born with.
