The old saying "more dollars than sense" comes to mind. But then again, some people's lives must be so mundane that they crave new and unique ways to spend their time and way more money than necessary. Evidence: the two long running battery/alternators/inverters threads going on here in the Tech forum. Those are a hobby/project, not a means for simplicity and economic feasibility. 2016 Ram 2500, MotorOps.ca EFIlive tuned, 5” turbo back, 6" lift on 37s 2017 Heartland Torque T29 - Sold. Although just about the time I thought one of my friends was nutz for buying one of them dinky Airstream single axle campers that they effectively never used, he turned around and sold it for $75k CDN when they moved back to BC. Hard to believe, but there was someone with far less sense than he, snatched that sucker right up. But it's hard to put a price on a status symbol, even if that status symbol is an impractically small ridiculously overpriced camper! |

I think the new 20ft Airstream Basecamp X would be perfect with the Cybertruck for off-road camping.![]() video |

@Van - you are spot on. Their test unit is almost the same configuration as the Base Camp model, The raging questions are what's the technology package and the price tag (ouch). |

A very misleading article title, since it says in the article that even though they have the megachargers, they still don't expect semi's until 2022, "due to supply constraints".
