Biden Test Drive F150 All-Electric Lighning.

Anyone else stoked about Ford's unveiling of all electric F150?

Politics aside, with Biden on the photo driving it, if his program to accelerate the adoption of EV, F150, the best selling vehicle ever, will be the one to do it. It just depends on it's competitive advantage, consumer acceptance (already a given but to include the all electric version) and how quickly they can re-tool and achieve scale.

Don't bother to make the reservations.

These Ford guys are a bigger **** up than I read about the customer experience of my friend on them. A dealer in SoCal even dropped them out of exasperation. No wonder their stock price is near bottom.

At least with Tesla, you know you can't get in because their system is overloaded.

The Ford guys screamed in today's launch you can reserve now. Go to their website and it will take you everywhere but the reservation site. And then when you get there, it's grayed (inactive) and keep looping you back to the grayed out reservation page.

Well, you can imagine what will happen if you are finally getting your unit at the dealership, getting it serviced, claiming warranty...[emoticon]

If you insist you know more than the first who confessed about these things in his own interview.
?????????????????

Makes for a good storyline. Of course he is known for doing interviews while high as a kite.

And we have Sam slamming Ford. I think he might really be concerned that those reservation holders for over 2 years are going to move on to the Blue Oval.

Seems to be throwing rocks from his glass house when he compares the Ford website to the software glitches on his favorite brand, or the hardware failures that they think are acceptable,

I am still waiting for that Semi, with 500 miles range pulling 80k pounds.

Oh, it will happen. The problem is that 60,000 pounds of the 80,000 pounds will be batteries!!

Geez, my favorite brand?

The reason I was in Ford website yesterday was to actually reserve an F150 Lightning Lariat -- but one exasperated and frustrated potential customer here.[emoticon]

And why wouldn't I love Ford. I'm a stockholder. Well, a few minutes ago. Why wouldn't they be my favorite. I bought the stocks yesterday and sold it today when it went up 4.38% (good decision too, it's down again to 3.86% just now).[emoticon]

Yes, his interview was just a confirmation of what my friend told me about his (former) neighbor in Hillsborough Heights, CA who told him the story of his Roadster in his garage. You know, first person story and corroboration?

But seems you know more.

You also find something wrong about people with breakthrough accomplishments while having fun. Like the Bill Clinton dude, politics aside, giving the country a booming economy while having a bj.[emoticon]

So apparently, Tesla don't suffer as big problem as the others on both chips and battery supplies.

Made my reservations for F150 Lightning after an exasperating attempts last night (and it's not as if their website is overloaded like what happened to Tesla in Cybertruck launch).

Gawd, that's some clunky website they have.. I hope that F150 won't prove as frustrating as this website and the reservation process.

Now, it's time to earn the money out of trading Ford stocks to pay for the unit. That's how I got the money for the reservation -- well, many times over just this morning. lol.
